History

On the 24th of the same month and year, the temple was solemnly inaugurated. Its first pastor was the president of the synod Reverend Cândido Joaquim de Sousa. After his death, Josué Ferreira de Sousa was appointed.
It is also interesting to note that, during the time that the German colony in Portugal was deprived of having its own church and a pastor, it was in the church of S. Pedro that divine worship was celebrated.
