Agostinho Arbiol era natural da freguesia de Santa Marinha – Vila Nova de Gaia onde nasceu em 17/03/1903.
A 30 de julho de 1925, fez o seu primeiro sermão sobre "O paralítico de Cafarnaum"
Percurso religioso:

  • Instituído Pregador licenciado em 11/01/1928
  • Ordenado Diácono em 11/10/1931
  • Ordenado Presbítero em 24/09/1933
  • Foi coadjutor na igreja S. João Evangelista entre 1931 e 1932
  • Ministro da igreja do Redentor a partir de 21/04/1938
    Foi colaborador do "Despertar", onde se notificou pelos célebres "sermões de cinco minutos", e foi ainda secretário do Sínodo, no norte, desde dezembro de 1939.
    Possuía o curso de contabilidade da escola comercial Oliveira Martins e os exames de francês, inglês e português do liceu e de inglês do Instituto Britânico. No campo teológico fez os exames correspondentes aos graus de Evangelista, Diácono e Presbítero.
    Faleceu a 1 de maio de 1977.

Agostinho Arbiol was born in the parish of Santa Marinha - Vila Nova de Gaia where he was born on 03/17/1903.
On July 30, 1925, he gave his first sermon on "The paralytic at Capernaum"

    He had an accounting course at the Oliveira Martins commercial school and the French, English, and Portuguese high school and English exams at the British Institute. In the theological field, he took the exams corresponding to the degrees of Evangelist, Deacon, and Elder. He died on May 1, 1977.
