Joaquim dos Santos Figueiredo foi um clérigo católico romano que em 1898 aderiu à Igreja Lusitana.
Percurso religioso:
Em 1922 o Sínodo elege-o bispo da Igreja Lusitana, tornando-se no primeiro bispo não sagrado. Foi um dos presbíteros mais prestigiados da Igreja e presidente do Sínodo, sendo o primeiro bispo não eleito da Igreja Lusitana. Dirigiu o Colégio Lusitano (anexo à igreja de S. Paulo, em Lisboa), onde foi também presbítero.
Joaquim dos Santos Figueiredo was a Roman Catholic cleric who in 1898 joined the Lusitanian Church.
Religious path:
In 1922 the Synod elects him bishop of the Lusitanian Church, becoming the first non-sacred bishop. He was one of the most prestigious elders of the Church and president of the Synod, being the first unelected bishop of the Lusitanian Church. He directed the Colégio Lusitano (attached to the church of S. Paulo, in Lisbon), where he was also an elder.
