Eduardo Henriques Moreira nasceu em Lisboa em 26-02-1886.

- Foi discípulo do professor Erasmo Braga
- Em 1917 foi nomeado pelo Ministro da Guerra, Norton de Matos, capelão evangélico em França, missão que não cumpriu devido à revolução sidonista
- Eleito vereador do município de Lisboa em 1920 onde em 1921 se torna vice-presidente do Senado
- Secretário do presidente do ministério, coronel António Maria Baptista
- Fundador da revista "Triângulo Vermelho"
- Representante em Portugal de congressos pedagógicos protestantes (1922, 1924, 1926, 1929, 1932)
- Secretário Geral da Associação de Escuteiros de Portugal, até 1922; Comissário dos escuteiros da zona do Porto, até 1926
- Iniciador do "Dia do Gaiato", em 1923
- Como procurador das missões evangélicas visitou, durante o ano 1934, cinquenta estações missionárias em Cabo Verde, Angola e Moçambique.
