History
Foi inaugurada na rua Carvalho Araújo, Bairro Salgado, uma nova igreja dedicada ao Espírito Santo em Setúbal. Até à data mencionada havia uma igreja peregrina: de 1907 até 1924 as sedes e os lugares de culto forma-se sucedendo desde a Avenida da Portela até à Avenida 5 de Outubro.
Numerosas dificuldades obrigaram o ministro da comunidade José Pereira Martins a tranformar em 1921 a sua própria habitação,na rua Almeida Garrett, em centro de culto.
Em 1924 o Reverendo André Cassels comunica quetinham aios para a compra de um terreno e a construção de um templo em Setúbal. a Obra viria a ser concluída cinco anos mais tarde em 14 de Agosto de 1929.
A new church dedicated to the Holy Spirit in Setúbal was inaugurated on Rua Carvalho Araújo, Bairro Salgado. Up to the date mentioned there was a pilgrim church: from 1907 to 1924 the headquarters and places of worship were taking place from Avenida da Portela to Avenida 5 de Outubro.
Numerous difficulties forced community minister José Pereira Martins to transform his own home in 1921, on Rua Almeida Garrett, into a cult center.
In 1924, Reverend André Cassels communicated that they had the means to purchase land and build a temple in Setúbal. the Work was to be completed five years later on August 14, 1929.
